Found out exploring the damage done by Hurricane Irene, Lucas is a 4 year old Labradoodle. His owner explained that he came from a shelter…hard to believe someone would give this guy up.

The sun was setting one evening in Park Slope when we ran into Lou. His owner tried to brush the hair out of his eyes, but didn’t have much luck. Still, one of the best stoop poses we’ve seen.

We spotted Newman from across the street and instantly knew that he was perfect to kick off Brooklyn Fuzzy. This 150lb Newfoundland has to be one of the largest dogs on the street. The picture truly doesn’t do this guy any justice.

I’ve seen her around 5th Ave in Park Slope a handful of times and was able to grab a picture one morning after brunch.
I found this guy in line for a the dumpling food truck at Grand Army Plaza.
I look forward to my trips to the ATM because it seems rare that I don’t run into some kind of handsome fuzzy. Not sure if he’s a golden or labradoodle, but regardless, running into him made the trip worthwhile.
We ran into this fuzzy downstairs at Urban Outfitters on Atlantic Ave. It was wet out and he was kind of a mess, but that didn’t stop us from snapping a picture.
Dogus could very well be the first and only Keeshond to be featured on Fuzzy Brooklyn. A German breed, he’s basically a big Pomeranian.

Easiest the largest dog I’ve seen out, he was enjoying a warm summer walk through Williamsburg. He’s the size of the bike and nearly as tall as my friend Malia.
